What if we stopped teaching like it’s 2005?

Today, too many students are checking out. Too many teachers are burning out. Too many programs are built like a giant game of calendar Tetris.

And yet, we keep saying we’re “preparing the leaders of tomorrow.”

But how can we do that inside a system that’s overloaded, rigid, and disconnected from real learning? How can we foster engagement when everything feels rushed and impersonal? How can we teach with heart when we spend more time policing than facilitating?

Two years ago, I started training with Kaospilot, a radical Danish school with a human-centered, experience-based approach to education.

Their philosophy is simple, yet powerful: Learning is not content. It’s an experience.

I started applying their principles in my own courses. And the results were instant: Eyes lit up. Conversations deepened. Classes ended with applause — and connection.

But this isn’t about me.

It’s about the spark we reignite in learners. And in educators.

I believe things can change. I believe teaching can be joyful, impactful, and alive again. And I want to help other educators and facilitators feel that shift.
